Update

Brief update on today before I go back to studying!

Today I studied in the Radcliffe Camera for a couple of hours across from a 70 year old prof who was studying Wittgenstein and the limits of language (bizarre!). I'm reading through the International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) which is a 1000+ page survey of most of the info on Global Climate Change...sigh...but it's incredibly relevant and actually very interesting!

SO, my essay topic for the week issss: (a bit vague)

'How far back in time does the fourth IPCC assessment go in establishing the bases of its assessments of global climate change, and what justifications does the team offer?'

I'll be spending the next two days trying to answer that question!

Tonight we had a formal dinner and heard a presentation about Shakespeare in film. Really interesting stuff...

Tomorrow I'll be studying all day...but in gorgeous places. I hate to say this, but it is brilliant to be able to walk past massive groups of tourists near the Radcliffe Camera, past the 'No Tourists' sign into the library to study!! Ahhh elitism.. :)

Will update once my essay is done (Thurs!)

Love,
Emily
